Mohammad A. Arafat (born 2 May 1973)^[1] is a Bangladeshi academic and politician. He is a former minister of state for information and broadcasting and a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Dhaka-17 constituency in 2023–2024.^[2]

Mohammad Ali Arafat was born on 2 May 1973 to Habibun Nisa and Mohammad Setab Uddin in Rajshahi.^[3][4]
